EnqueueInfo

Represents information produced when a job is queued.

EnqueueInfo provides details about a job that has been accepted by the WJb runtime and scheduled for execution.

  JobInfo

The enqueue operation creates a job and returns information describing that operation.

Typical Usage

Common scenarios include:

  • Returning job identifiers to callers
  • Tracking background work
  • Linking UI operations to jobs
  • Monitoring scheduled execution

Monitoring

Enqueue information is commonly used immediately after a job is created.

Monitoring systems typically use JobInfo and JobQuery for longer-term inspection.

Best Practices

Store Identifiers When Needed

Persist job identifiers if later tracking or status retrieval is required.

Use JobInfo for Ongoing Monitoring

Treat enqueue information as creation metadata rather than a complete job record.

Avoid Duplicating Runtime State

Use WJb query APIs to retrieve current job information when needed.
